There are many lay-offs right now in RDU FSC. The numbers have been posted, and the affected have been notified. For those of us that chose to exercise our seniority, and move to another station ,we are awaiting the relocation information needed. Glenn spoke with RDU station manger and let him know, though report dates were slated for Jan. 10, there would be a delay if we do not receive ample moving time. There will also be a notice to all part-time FSC being affected by the downgrades. Those notice are to be handed out in the next day or so, with RIF info to follow. If anyone has any questions or concerns about these notices, please don't hesitate to speak with any Executive Board Member or Shop Steward. We are trying to keep everyone as well informed as possible.
